Crime of the Week, July 8, 2008

This week Nashville Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $1000 cash, for clues called in to 74-CRIME that help solve this robbery of the Mrs. Winner’s restaurant on 8th Ave. South in west Nashville.

On Sunday, April 27th 2009 at about 11:15 in the morning a man entered the Mrs. Winner’s restaurant at 1907 8th Ave. South near Wedgewood Ave., and pulled a pistol.  He demanded that the cashier give him the money from the register.  After getting the cash he left through the door on the north side of the business and fled on foot. 

The suspect was very aggressive during this robbery and police want to take him off the streets before he hurts someone.

 He made no effort to hide his face which allowed the surveillance system to get great video of him. He was described as being a male black, around five feet four inches tall and about 150 pounds.  He has a scar on the left side of his face and was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jean shorts at the time of the robbery.  He also had a mustache and goatee.

If you have information which might help metro police solve this robbery of the Mrs. Winner’s restaurant on 8th Ave. South, in west Nashville, call crime stoppers at 74-crime.  If the information results in the arrest and prosecution, Nashville Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of $1000 cash.
