This week Nashville Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $1000 cash, for clues called in to 74-CRIME that help solve the murder of 18 year old Leif Brittain at the car wash located at 400 Swiss drive in south Nashville.

On Friday June 20th, at approximately 1140 in the evening, Leif Brittain was washing his truck in a back bay of the car wash on Swiss drive near Nolensville road, when he was apparently confronted by someone who shot him to death. Leif’s wallet was missing and detectives believe the murder occurred while Leif was being robbed.

At the time of the murder Leif was washing his gray, 2000 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck.  He was wearing, a red sleeveless tee shirt, a red and white baseball hat, blue jeans and black boots.
Metro detectives are asking the public to call crime stoppers if they saw the confrontation, or know who killed Leif Brittain and share what they know about it.

If you have information which might help metro police solve the murder of Leif Brittain at the car wash on Swiss drive near Nolensville road in south Nashville, call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.  If the information results in the arrest and prosecution, Nashville Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of $1000 cash.

The family of Leif Brittain is offering an additional reward of $10,000 dollars for the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for his murder.

Crime stoppers will also pay up to $1000 for clues called in to 74-CRIME on any other major crime, wanted person, stolen property or drugs. Callers remain anonymous, they will only be known by the code number they are issued.
