The man who died early today in a driveway of River Plantation Condominiums on General George Patton Road in Bellevue is identified as Joshua Patrick Sullivan, 30, of Old Charlotte Pike in Pegram.
The investigation thus far shows that Sullivan was run over between 2:30 and 3 a.m. by a pickup truck driven by Seth Carter Harris, 26, of Davidson Road. Also in the pickup truck was its owner, Paul Biggers, IV, 26, of Belle Glen Drive.
Detectives have learned that Sullivan, Harris and Biggers were in the same Bellevue bar early today drinking. Harris and Biggers have said that Sullivan, who was known by Biggers, was intoxicated and offered to give him a ride home.
Biggers said he mistakenly thought Sullivan lived in River Plantation. Harris and Biggers say that upon arrival in River Plantation, Sullivan, who was either asleep or passed out in the truck, came to and began vomiting. They said they got Sullivan out of the truck and that he started to fight them. The two said as they attempted to drive away, Sullivan latched onto the 2004 GMC Sierra pickup truck. Evidence in the driveway, along with the condition of Sullivan’s body, shows that he was run over.
Harris and Biggers have been questioned much of today and have been cooperative. Nevertheless, detectives are concerned that they did not report that Sullivan was down until Harris called at 5:26 a.m. No charges are being placed today. The investigation by West Precinct detectives is continuing.
Anyone with information about this case is urged to contact the West Precinct Detective Unit at 862-7385.
