Sex Crimes detectives have charged a now former janitor at Crieve Hall Elementary School with aggravated sexual battery for kissing an eight-year-old student and placing her hand on his genital area in the school’s cafeteria on Tuesday.
Albert Graham, Jr., 57, of Neelys Chase Drive, was taken into custody last night at his home. He resigned from the school on Wednesday.
The investigation of Graham began Tuesday after the student told a teacher that Graham kissed her and placed her hand on his genital area while she helped him clean the cafeteria after lunch.
In an interview with detectives, Graham admitted to inappropriate conduct with the girl. He denied any similar activity with other students.
Any parent whose child speaks of suspicious actions on the part of Graham is urged to contact the police department’s Sex Crimes Unit at 862-7540.
Graham is being held in lieu of $80,000 bond.
