
The Murfreesboro man killed in an early morning motorcycle crash Monday on Interstate 24 has been identified as Zarry Ellis, 27, of Grassland Drive.
Ellis was riding his motorcycle east on Interstate 24 when for reasons unknown at this time, he began to brake sharply and veer to the right near mile marker 62. Ellis lost control of his motorcycle and skidded off the Interstate at 1:45 a.m. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
There was no evidence of alcohol involvement at the scene.
