The elderly man killed in Thursday afternoon’s two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Lealand and Glendale Lanes has been identified as Charles L. Cochran, 71, of Omandale Drive.
Cochran was driving west on Glendale Lane through the intersection when his Suzuki SUV was hit on the driver’s side door by a car driven by Carolyn S. Bohannon, 74, of Twin Lawn Drive.
Bohannon was driving her Mercury Grand Prix north on Lealand Lane through the intersection when the front end of her car collided with Cochran’s SUV.
The intersection is a four-way stop. Cochran’s failure to stop appears to be the contributing factor to this fatal crash.
