
Outstanding police work by Vice Unit detectives today resulted in the 100th arrest involving prostitution advertising on the popular Craig’s List website.
The unit began targeting persons suspected of conducting criminal vice activity on Craig’s List in June of 2006 resulting in the arrests of 60 female prostitutes, eleven male prostitutes, 25 male patrons of prostitution, three male promoters of prostitution, and one illegal drug user.
Vice Unit detectives continue to monitor Craig’s List for prostitution activity and conduct investigations into the misuse of the website.
