South Precinct detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 37-year-old Arturio Arias. His sister spoke to him on the phone September 10 at 12:30 a.m. at his residence at 2622 Foster Avenue during a birthday party for his girlfriend.
Arias’ sister arrived at her brother’s duplex at 8:30 a.m. for breakfast. He was not at home. His girlfriend, Diana Terron Aviles, said Arias had gone out to run an errand shortly after his conversation with his sister. Aviles reported Arias missing after his sister expressed her concern.
Arias’ family located his white GMC pickup truck parked outside El Fandango nightclub at 2196 Nolensville Pike later that day.
Arias is 5’5” tall, weighs 175 pounds, and has a shaved head.
Aviles has moved out of the duplex that she shared with Arias and her current whereabouts are unknown.
Anyone seeing Arturio Arias or knowing his whereabouts is urged to contact Detective David Achord at 862-7687. Spanish speaking persons may contact Officers Juan Borges at 880-3176 or Rafael Fernandez at 880-1783.
