Detectives are working to identify suspects in five separate hold-ups where businesses were robbed at gunpoint by persons wearing Halloween masks.
The Shell gas station at 2112 Charlotte Avenue was robbed Sunday at 10:30 a.m. followed by the Family Dollar Store at 2939 Nolensville Pike at 11 a.m., the Subway at 3958 Clarksville Pike at noon, the Little Barn Market at 3039 Brick Church Pike at 5 p.m., and the Mapco Express at 4134 Gallatin Pike just after midnight.
The suspects may be teenagers.
Detectives would like to speak to the occupants of a maroon SUV, possibly a Mitsubishi Montero, seen in the Shell parking lot shortly after the robbery.
Anyone with information about the suspects or the SUV is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME or the Emergency Communications Center at 862-8600.
