West and Hermitage Precinct detectives are working to identify persons suspected in three separate robberies Sunday.

The first robbery occurred at 4 p.m. in the parking lot of Calhoun’s restaurant at 96 White Bridge Road. A 62-year-old woman was helping her 83-year-old mother get into her car when the suspect demanded her purse. She complied.

The second robbery occurred at 5:30 p.m. in the Wal-Mart parking lot at 4424 Lebanon Pike. The suspect demanded a 33-year-old woman’s purse which she threw to the ground. He did not retrieve it.

The third robbery occurred at 7:40 p.m. in a parking garage near Whole Foods in the Hill Center at 4021 Hillsboro Pike. The suspect demanded a 36-year-old woman’s purse. When she refused, he slapped her, and stole her purse.

In all three robberies the victims say the suspects fled in a black Pontiac Grand Am with tinted windows. The victim in the Hill Center parking garage reported the car was being driven by a black woman with two other people in the back seat. The robber in each case is described as a black man wearing dark clothing.
