A medical condition may have caused the death of a Nashville man whose car crashed into a tree at the intersection of 31st Avenue North and Park Plaza early Monday.
Ivy Lee Blair, Jr., 46, of Shipp Lane, was driving his 2005 Kia Sedona minivan west on Park Plaza when the car drifted off the roadway and struck a tree at 3:55 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
There was no evidence of alcohol involvement or excessive speed at the scene. Blair was not wearing his seatbelt.
