The man found shot to death early today at the corner of Benton Avenue and Vine Hill Road is identified as George W. Ingle, 51, of 625 Benton Avenue. A passerby discovered Ingle’s body at 3:30 a.m. and called police.
South Precinct detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding Ingle’s murder. A motive has not yet been established.
