South Precinct detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two men who robbed the Phillips 66 at 1915 Murfreesboro Pike Saturday afternoon.

One of the suspects covered his face with a ski mask just before he entered the store at 4:30 p.m. He jumped the counter and robbed the clerk at gunpoint. The second suspect pretended to be a customer.

Both suspects are described as black men, approximately 5’8” tall, and each weighing approximately 175 pounds. The masked suspect wore a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. The second suspect wore a white hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Anyone recognizing these men or knowing their whereabouts is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME or South Precinct Investigations at 862-7763.
