The man killed early Thursday morning in a single-vehicle accident on Old Franklin Road has been identified as Jerry W. Davis, 50, of Mt. View Road.
Davis was driving his Ford Contour east in the 3300 block of Old Franklin Road when the car left the roadway and struck a fence at 12:20 a.m.
He was the only occupant in the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.
His relatives were found this morning.
