East Precinct detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the stabbing death of Jerry Huey, 51, on Dew Street this morning.
Officers responded to a report of a man stabbed in the 600 block of Dew Street just after 2 a.m. Huey was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died. Huey may have been involved in a drug deal/robbery when he got into an argument with another man.
Detectives are looking for a person of interest who may also be a victim. He is described only as a white man who is approximately 5’8” tall with a slim build.
