The teenager accused in two separate robberies last week is in custody.
Kanaloa Smothers, 18, of Fatherland Street, was arrested in Murfreesboro Thursday night after police responded to a domestic disturbance call. He remains in Murfreesboro pending his transfer to Nashville.
Warrants have been issued charging Smothers with aggravated robbery, robbery, and a crooks with guns violation for robbing two acquaintances at gunpoint.
