West Precinct Detective Brad Putnam this evening charged a third defendant in connection with the October 26, 2007, execution of two Bellacino’s Pizza employees during a robbery of the White Bridge Road restaurant.
Ravaughn Harris, 21, was taken into custody by West Precinct Flex officers at his Bellevue Road apartment. He is named in a Davidson County Grand Jury indictment charging two counts of first-degree murder and especially aggravated robbery.
Harris was the getaway driver for defendants Jason Bobo and Crystle Rutherford. Detectives believe Harris had knowledge the two intended to rob Bellacino’s before picking them up.
Bobo and Rutherford were arrested on October 29, 2007, on charges that they murdered Bellacino’s manager Chris Caris and employee Joshua Cole while robbing the business. Bobo was a former employee of Bellacino’s.
